Air Forces Commander General Asparuk Due To Albania

ANKARA - Air Forces Commander General Cumhur Asparuk will leave for Albania on June 16.
Releasing a statement, the Air Forces Command said on Thursday, ''under the protocol signed in 2001, the Turkish Air Forces has been modernizing Kuchove Airport in Albania. Modernization activities started in 2002. These activities are planned to be finalized in September of 2003. During his visit to Albania, General Asparuk will visit the airport and receive information about modernization activities.''
Meanwhile, European Tactical Airlift Meet (ETAM) will be held at the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command in Erkilet town of central province of Kayseri between June 22 and 27.
