ANKARA - Ankara Municipality arranged ''Sister Cities Summit.''
Mayors of 18 cities, which Ankara earlier signed ''sister city'' protocol, will convene in Ankara between June 14 and 16.
Mayors of Tbilisi (Georgia), Dip Karpas and Lefkosa (TRNC), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Islamabad (Pakistan), Bucharest (Romania), Bishkek (Kyrgzstan), Kiev (Ukraine), Tirana (Albania), Ufa (Bashkortostan), Budapest (Hungary), Kabul (Afghanistan), Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Ulan Bator (Mongolia), Scopje (Macedonia), Astana (Kazakhstan), Moscow (Russia) as well as representative of European Parliament and European Award Commission members will participate in the summit.
Summit will start on June 14 with a ceremony and the guest mayors are expected to deliver speeches.
At the end of the summit, the mayors are expected to issue a joint declaration.
