ANKARA - Turkey condemned on Wednesday the terrorist attacks staged in the Middle East.
A statement of the Foreign Ministry emphasized that the Middle East again faced terrorism and violence in recent days.
The statement said that four Israeli soldiers had died at the weekend and people died and injured in the operation staged by Israel the previous day.
Noting a suicide attack was staged in Jerusalem the same day, the statement recalled that the retaliation operation of Israel still continued in Gaza Strip.
The statement harshly condemned the terrorist attacks and said, ''Turkey does not approve use of force which exceeds the limits of intention of fight against terrorism. The aim of the terrorist focuses is certain. They want to stop the peace process just at the beginning.''
In that case, one of the main methods of fight against terrorists and their intentions was ''implementation of 'road map' accepted by Israeli and Palestinian sides determinedly'', the statement said.
The statement added, ''terrorism should not be allowed to hamper the peace process from now on. When they are fighting against terrorism and violence, the sides should act with the consciousness of this main principle.''
