ANKARA - Turkey and Moldova signed three agreements to develop cooperation in agriculture field during Moldavian Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev's visit to Turkey between June 4 and 6.
Agriculture and Rural Affairs Ministry issued on Tuesday a statement noting that Turkish and Moldavian officials signed three agreements on ''cooperation in economic, scientific and technical issues in agriculture field'', ''cooperation in plant quarantine'' and ''cooperation in veterinary medicine'' during Tarlev's visit to Turkey.
Turkey and Moldova will encourage their institutions and economic organizations to establish technical, scientific and economic relations in accordance with agreements.
An agriculture executive committee will be formed and this committee will convene annually.
Exchange of experts will be made between the two countries.
Turkey and Moldova will also cooperate in fight against plant and animal diseases.
