ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu discussed current situation of Cyprus issue and initiatives which TRNC has taken recently in their meeting on Tuesday.
Prime Ministry Press Center issued a statement noting that Erdogan had a meeting with Eroglu, who was currently in Turkey for a conference, and the two prime ministers took up current situation of Cyprus issue and initiatives which TRNC has taken recently.
It was stressed in the meeting that Turkey would continue to support Turkish Cypriot people in every field. The importance of protection of national unity on Cyprus issue was also underlined in the meeting.
