BERLIN - Germany's Berlin State Economy, Labour and Women Ministry Undersecretary Susanne Ahlers said on Tuesday that Turkish businessmen were inseparable part of Berlin economy.
Addressing a meeting on ''vocational training in Turkish companies,'' held in Berlin, Ahlers said that Turkish Consulate General in Berlin and various German institutions started a project for Turkish enterprises to present more vocational training opportunities for young employees.
Defending the view that Turkish companies didn't benefit sufficiently from the opportunities given to them by Berlin state, Ahlers said that ''only 3 percent of Turkish firms give vocational training to young employees. We will encourage Turkish firms to give more vocational training.''
Turkish Consul General in Berlin Aydýn Durusoy said in his part that they would do their best for harmonization process of Turkish businessmen living in Berlin.
