Police Confiscate 24 Kg Of Heroin In Antalya

ANTALYA - Police confiscated 24 kg of heroin in an operation in southern Antalya province.
Antalya Gendarmerie Command said on Tuesday that gendarmerie teams confiscated 24 kg of heroin in a five star hotel in Antalya and stated that five Dutch women and six Turkish people were detained in connection with drug smuggling.
Those people planned to smuggle heroin to abroad with Dutch women. Police staged operation and found heroin hidden in bags of Dutch women who stayed in a five star hotel in Antalya.
Market value of the heroin is about 1 trillion Turkish liras.
