Basesgioglu: We'll Transfer Bill On Seniority Payment Fund To Prime Ministry And Later To Parliament

GENEVA - Labour and Social Security Minister Murat Basesgioglu said on Tuesday that they would transfer the bill on seniority payment fund to the prime ministry and later to the parliament.
Basesgioglu, who is currently in Geneva upon the 91st Labour Conference of ILO, told A.A correspondent the same day that the bill on formation of ''Seniority Payment Fund'' was sent to concerned ministries to take their views.
Basesgioglu stressed that they didn't want any step back from acquired rights, adding that ''after getting the views of concerned ministries, we will discuss the issue among social parties. After reaching a consensus, we will transfer the bill to the prime ministry and then to the parliament.''
Basesgioglu noted that they aimed to adopt the laws on Social Security Agency (SSK) and Self Employed Persons' Pension Fund (Bag-Kur) before the summer recess.
Meanwhile, Basesgioglu met with Albanian Minister of Labor and Social Issues Valentina Leskaj.
