ANKARA - Turkey on Tuesday lifted ban on traveling to Singapore because of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Foreign Ministry issued a statement and said Turkish citizens should not limit their visits to Singapore, yet that they advised the citizens to be careful and alert against the disease.
The statement said the warning was lifted after World Health Organization (WHO) excluded Singapore on May 31 from list of countries affected by SARS.
The ministry statement said citizens would continuously be informed about the developments on SARS.
Turkey on April 4 had advised Turkish citizens not to visit Singapore in case not obligatory.
