ANKARA - Eximbank Director General Ahmet Kilicoglu said on Tuesday that Turkish Eximbank authorized a consortium comprising foreign banks to get a syndicated loan from the euro-syndicated market.
Releasing a statement, Kilicoglu said that it would be a Turkish bank's first borrowing following the fluctuations in international markets before and after Iraq War, and Turkish Eximbank led the loan.
Noting that the loan was planned to be nearly 100-125 million U.S. dollars, Kilicoglu said they thought the loan would be ready for use in July, and it would rapidly be opened to use of the sector to contribute to momentum in increase in exports.
