Number Of Tourists Visiting Antalya Exceeds One Million

ANTALYA - The number of tourists who visited southern Antalya province exceeded one million and a total of 151 thousand 670 tourists came to Antalya in the first week of June.
Antalya Culture and Tourism Provincial Directorate stated on Monday that the number of tourists visiting Antalya became 28 thousand 419 on Sunday, while a total of one million 100 tourists visited Antalya since the beginning of 2003. The number of tourists, who came to Antalya by airways, became 151 thousand 670 in the first week of June.
The number of tourists who visited Antalya was 146 thousand 369 in the first week of June in 2002 and a total of one million 834 thousand 339 tourists visited Antalya between January and June last year.
Representatives of tourism sector said that they aimed to catch 5 million tourists target this year.
