BRUSSELS - State Ministers Besir Atalay and Mehmet Aydin came to Brussels on Saturday to attend the activities held upon the 40th anniversary of migration of Turks in Belgium.
The year 1963 when an agreement which set the principles of sending labor force from Turkey to Belgium was signed was considered a beginning of migration of Turks in Belgium.
Painting, photograph and cartoon exhibitions, poem and painting competitions, fairs, theatre plays, recitals, symposiums, conferences and panel discussions have been held, cinema and literature days have been organized and folkloric dances have been performed within the framework of the activities.
Activities will end by Turkish Parade on Sunday. Atalay and Aydin will also join the parade.
