Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who addressed the nation, pointed out that, ''all the corruption will be revealed when the parliamentary commission completes its studies.''
DENKTAS: 1600 PEOPLE GOT GREEK CYPRIOT PASSPORT
President Rauf Denktas of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said 1600 TRNC people got Greek Cypriot passports after opening of doors, not 20,000 people as it had been alleged.
Denktas said, ''Turkish Cypriot people went to southern side. They saw that their villages and houses were destroyed.''
Denktas said the Turkish Cypriots did not file a suit so far for their assets in southern side, stating that a study has been launched to open file in Greek Cypriot courts in this respect.

REPORT OF TERROR
The autopsy report of three inmates who died in the operation staged against the prisons says that the bullet wounds were widened by cutting with a knife. The additional report which was added to the file regarding the ''Operation Return Life'' in Eyup Third Basic Court revealed a reality which remained as secret. According to the report, bullet wounds widened by cutting a knife was found on bodies of three dead people. Those wounds occurred immediately before or after death. According to autopsy report, this act makes it difficult to understand at what distance bullets were fired. This is shown evidence to disprove claims that the inmates died in their armed resistance or killed by some of their friends.
PETKIM IS BEING SOLD AT CHEAP PRICE, LAST WORD TO BE SAID BY GOVERNMENT
Bid around 60 percent of the real value of Petkim was submitted in the first privatization initiative of this year, from which the government has hoped so much. The current market value of Petkim is 1.1 billion U.S. dollars. The shares which are announced to be sold is worth of 994 million U.S. dollars. The Uzan family who has given the highest price in the tender gave 605 million U.S. dollars for the company. The Supreme Privatization Board will say the last word.

CLASH IN BINGOL: FIVE SOLDIERS INJURED
Members of terrorist organization PKK-KADEK who had injured seven soldiers by laying an ambush on a military vehicle last week injured five soldiers in a clash with security forces this time in eastern Bingol province. The injured soldiers were taken under medical treatment.
REDUCTION TO THOSE WHO PAY TAX EARLIER
The Finance Ministry started two new implementations when the total collection of income in April remained at 908 trillion Turkish liras (TL). Reduction will be made to those who pay their tax earlier than the required time while those who don't pay their tax will be followed.

DENKTAS SAYS NEGOTIATIONS SHOULD BE PROLONGED TILL TURKEY JOINS EU
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas said that they would not allow those who defend Annan Plan to come to the power and ''remove their state.'' Asked if ''a coup would take place'', Denktas said, ''something may happen but I can't know what will happen. We can't bow to it.''
ENERGY MINISTER GULER'S ATTACK FOR APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN PERSONS
As the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government was formed, certain persons started to be appointed to certain positions in DSI, TEIAS, TEDAS, TETAS, TAEK and MTA under authority of the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry. Heads of Geophysics Department, Mine Study Department, Drilling Department, Geology Department in the Directorate General of Mineral Research and Administration Institute were dismissed. It has been revealed that relatives of Deputy Parliament Speaker Nevzat Pakdil, a deputy of AK Party, were appointed to high-level positions.

KURDISH FOOD IS PROHIBITED
An investigation was launched regarding officials of Bahar Culture Center who wrote the names of the local food in Kurdish in the invitation letter of the food festival in southeastern Batman province. Emel Ciftci, the head of the center who testified in the prosecutor's office, said, ''we informed the Governor's Office beforehand. More than a thousand guests came to the festival.'' Ciftci noted, ''they asked why we named the local food in Kurdish. This rises our thoughts on the road to European Union (EU) membership.'' Batman Police Chief Tahir Bayir said, ''the reason of the investigation does not have connection with Kurdish. The investigation was launched as a meeting was held in a closed area without permission.''

HERE IS BAKU-CEYHAN
Construction works of Baku-Ceyhan Pipeline, which was described as the project of the century and which would turn Turkey into an energy bridge between Europe and Asia, continue despite the allegations of alternative route and all speculations.

SECURITY DIRECTORATE GENERAL SPOKESMAN: ''ACTS OF TERRORISM REDUCED BY 80 PERCENT WHEN COMPARED TO 1993''
Security Deputy Director General and Security Directorate General Spokesman Feyzullah Arslan said that acts of terrorism reduced by eighty percent when compared to terrorist incidents ten years ago.
Holding a press conference, Arslan said that the decrease took place as a result of people's support to security forces' effective fight against terrorism.
''Under principles of law and understanding of human rights, the security organization will maintain its fight against terrorism which aims to destroy basic characteristics of the republic,'' he said.

OZKAN AND YILMAZ ACCEPT TO GIVE TESTIMONY TO PARLIAMENT
Former Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz and former Deputy Prime Minister Husamettin Ozkan accepted the invitation of Parliamentary Commission to Investigate Corruption. Husamettin Ozkan will give testimony next Thursday, and Yilmaz will give testimony on Friday.
The commission will ask for the economic crisis which had been experienced in 2001 February, and situation of sunken banks.
The commission will ask Yilmaz the allegations regarded with the energy tenders.
DENKTAS: TACTIC THAT WE SHOULD NOT LEAVE NEGOTIATION TABLE IS WRONG
President Rauf Denktas of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said the European Union (EU) put pressure on Turkey with the policy of ''give and rescue'', stating that Turkey should forget Cyprus in case it makes this mistake.
Denktas said the EU and the United States supported Greek Cypriots against the Turkish Cypriots despite the legal and de facto rightfulness. He said they supported the Greek Cypriots just because Turkish Cypriots are Moslem.
Defending that there would be massacre on the island in case Turkish soldiers withdrew from the island, Denktas said the tactic that ''we should not leave negotiation table'' was not right.
