ANKARA - Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu said on Friday that he stated in the tenth unofficial meeting of EU Ministers in charge of Public Administration, held in Rhodes, Greece that Turkey was resolved to realize a serious transformation in public administration.
Speaking to A.A correspondent on the phone, Interior Minister Aksu said that he also delivered a speech in the meeting which started this morning.
Aksu said that issues such as ''reconstruction of public administration,'' ''e-state,'' ''EU enlargement process,'' ''human resources,'' ''importance of dialogue in administration'' came to agenda during the meeting. Aksu said he explained in the meeting that administration structures of 35 countries were examined in Turkey to understand the relations between citizens and administrative systems in those countries.
''I told in the meeting that we prepared a programme to make all applications simple, qualified, fast and which would take citizens as the basis,'' said Aksu.
