LEFKOSA - TRNC Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu said on Friday that TRNC would develop with investments, adding that new investments would also be made.
High ranking bureaucrats delegation who came from Turkey for the opening of the 27th International Fair, visited TRNC Prime Minister Eroglu and TRNC Parliament Speaker Vehbi Zeki Serter.
Speaking in the meeting, Eroglu said that they were in continuous dialogue with bureaucrats in Turkey for developing TRNC industry, adding that TRNC industry needed support and market. Eroglu stated that products produced in TRNC should be exported and that Turkey was an important market, adding that there were studies to decrease the prices of certain inputs.
Noting that they believed that TRNC would develop by investments, Eroglu said that efforts continued to overcome employment and production problems.
Eroglu stated that the plan presented by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan caused turmoil in the country and that the Greek Cypriots proposals made after that ignored TRNC. Eroglu stated that neither the world nor the EU accepted the fact that there was a separate state in the North.
The delegation later visited Parliament Speaker Serter.
