Sezer: I Believe That My Visit Was Beneficial And Accelerated Regional Cooperation

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said on Wednesday that his visit to Romania was beneficial and accelerated regional cooperation in the aspects of examining relations between Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria and searching cooperation facilities in the region.
Releasing a statement at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Sezer said that they were shown close interest and hospitality in Romania where attended Turkish-Romanian-Bulgarian Presidents' Sixth Summit meeting and he thanked Romanian officials.
Sezer said that they took up international developments and regional cooperation projects regarding the countries participating in the summit and they exchanged views about those issues.
Sezer said, ''we have seen that we have the necessary determination for further development of solidarity and cooperation between our countries. We decided to improve our partnership in economy and trade fields for providing prosperity of our region. We discussed the ways of increasing the contribution to stability, security, peace and well-being of our region in our meetings.''
Noting that he held separate meetings with presidents of Romania and Bulgaria and they evaluated bilateral relations, Sezer said that his visit was beneficial and accelerated regional cooperation in the aspects of examining relations between Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria and searching cooperation facilities in the region.
