REYHANLI - Customs police confiscated 23.5 kilograms of heroin hidden in 'cache' of a car at the Cilvegozu Border Gate in Reyhan town of southern province of Hatay, and they detained the driver of the car.
Sources said on Wednesday that during the control of a car that was about to leave Turkey for Syria, customs police seized 23.5 kg of heroin hidden in the car.
Officials said the driver was detained, and an investigation was under way.
