Discussions With World Bank On Public Procurement Law End

ANKARA - Discussions with the World Bank on the Public Procurement Law had finished and agreement had been reached on its main principles, sources said on Wednesday.
Officials said that all articles of the law had been discussed in detail with the World Bank and the law would be sent to the parliament in three or five days.
During discussions, companies operating in sectors of energy, water, transportation and telecommunication had been taken out of the content of the law officials said, adding agreement had been reached on shortening of auction procedures.
