E.U. To Give 45 Million Euro To Eastern Anatolia In Grants

ERZURUM - The Entrepreneurship Promotion Project Center of the Ataturk University in eastern province of Erzurum said on Wednesday that the European Union (EU) would give 45 million euro in donation to Erzurum, Erzincan and Bayburt provinces under the Eastern Anatolia Development Program.
Speaking to the A.A correspondent, project assistant expert Nilgun Gencmehmetoglu said that development was the first condition of acceptance of Turkey's EU membership, and to this end several donations would be made to the regions that had priority in development.
Gencmehmetoglu added that 45 million euro donation under the Eastern Anatolia Development Program would be finalized after control of investment projects in those three provinces.
