ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin said on Tuesday that connecting the European Union (EU) adjustment package with the meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) would harm EU process.
During the meeting of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) group meeting, Sahin told reporters that method of bringing draft laws and proposals onto the agenda of the parliament was definite and stated that the sixth adjustment package would be submitted to the parliament under the same method.
Stating that they received views of state institutions regarding drafts, Sahin said, ''connecting EU adjustment package with the meeting of the NSC will harm EU process.''
Sahin said that adjustment law would be submitted to the parliament soon and added that this situation would also take its place in the progress report about Turkey.
