Parliament Speaker Arinc Visits Japanese Emperor Akihito In Tokyo

TOKYO - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc visited on Tuesday Japanese Emperor Akihito in Tokyo.
Turkey's Ambassador in Tokyo Solmaz Unaydin also attended the meeting which was held in the Empire Palace and closed to press.
Arinc expressed his pleasure for meeting with Akihito and said that it was a beneficial meeting, adding that they discussed Turkish-Japanese cooperation and celebration of 2003 as ''Turkish Year''.
Arinc also visited Tokyo Mosque and received information from the officials of mosque.
