Five People Injured In Explosion In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Five people, including Istanbul State Security Court (DGM) Prosecutor Hadi Salihoglu, were injured in the explosion which occurred in Bakirkoy district of Istanbul on Tuesday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that DGM Prosecutor Hadi Salihoglu, policewoman Sevil Imisci and policeman Ragip Sakallioglu, Azat Mersesoglu and Halil Duran Seker were injured in the blast that took place under an overpass in Bakirkoy.
The injured were taken under medical treatment in three hospitals.
Officials of the hospitals said that the state of health of the injured was not critical and they were immediately taken under treatment.
Meanwhile, the vehicle carrying Istanbul DGM prosecutors, one police vehicle and three cars were damaged in the explosion.
Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler, DGM Chief Prosecutor Aykut Cengiz Engin, and Police Chief Celalettin Cerrah came to the spot to receive information and for investigation regarding the blast.
