Prime Minister Erdogan Receives A.T.A.A. Delegation

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday received Assembly of Turkish-American Associations (ATAA) President Ercument Kilic and an accompanying delegation.
Prime Ministry Press Center issued a statement and said importance of activities of ATAA in the United States for Turkey, Turkey's support to ATAA, Turkish-American relations, and what ATAA could contribute for improvement of relations were discussed at the meeting.
When asked how lobby activities in the United States were evaluated, Kilic said lobby activities did not give damage to Turkey, but that big amounts of money were not spent wisely.
Responding to a question what kind of comments did Erdogan make regarded with Turkish-American relations, Kilic said he conveyed his view that facilities given by Turkey to the United States were not known much in this country.
Kilic said Erdogan mentioned the facilities, treatment of injured people and transportation of aid equipment during Iraq war, but that he told Erdogan that those were not known much in the American public.
