ANKARA - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman Salih Kapusuz criticized on Monday the European Union (EU) for not taking KADEK in the list of terrorist organizations and said that it was necessary to take KADEK in the list of terrorist organizations.
Kapusuz held a press meeting in his office at Parliament.
When a reporter asked about the decision of EU regarding KADEK and recalled the statements of Chief of General Staff Hilmi Ozkok who said that the decision encouraged the terrorist organization, Kapusuz said that it was necessary to take KADEK in the list of terrorist organizations, but some difficulties could be seen as it had happened in the past regarding PKK. He added that Turkey would continue its efforts in that issue. He said that taking KADEK to the list was not enough and the punishment for those who were involved in that organization should be increased, adding that he agreed with the views of Ozkok.
