Cicek: We Do Not Want To Miss The E.U. Opportunity

AH- After the five-hour cabinet meeting including EU agenda, Justice Minister and Government Spokesman Cemil Cicek announced that Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul briefed the cabinet about his contacts related to EU.
Cicek said about EU that, the government would concentrate on national program and that they did not want to be a government, which missed the EU opportunity.
Recalling that the Parliament adopted five harmonization packages beforehand, Cicek said that the 6th Package would be adopted and that it might be sent to the National Security Council (MGK) once more. Cicek said, “ There is a positive manner in EU countries in favor of Turkey and EU is a vital important target for Turkey.”
