ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul plans to pay visits to Israel and Palestine in autumn.
Diplomatic sources told the A.A correspondent on Sunday that Gul was expected to go to the region after Israeli President Moshe Katzav's visit to Ankara in July.
Before President Katzav, Ankara will host Palestinian Foreign Minister Nabil Shaath.
It is still not known whether Gul will combine his visits to Israel and Palestine.
Meanwhile, Israel conveyed its condition for foreign guests saying, ''if you meet with Arafat, you cannot come together with Sharon'' to the Turkish side.
Under its policy to isolate Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, Israel proposes foreign guests visiting the region to meet with Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas instead of Arafat.
