ANKARA - The State Institute of Statistics (DIE) said that the rate of capacity utilization that is weighted by production value, increased from 73.8 percent in the January-March period of 2002 to 74.8 percent in the January-March period of 2003, from the primarily provisional result of 2,292 large scale manufacturing industrial establishments.
DIE announced the result of the monthly tendency survey which reflects view of the establishments in manufacturing industry about production, sales, stocks and prices for the realization in the January-March period of 2003.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below:
