G.A.P. Region Exports Usd 48.5 Million Of Carpets

GAZIANTEP - Exports of carpets from the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region increased 44 percent to 48 million 546 thousand U.S. dollars in the first four months of 2003.
In the same period last year, the region exported 33 million 711 thousand U.S. dollars of carpets.
The GAP region exports carpets to the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, Romania, Uzbekistan and Greece.
