T.P.A.O. Produces 223 Million Barrels Of Crude Oil In Last Decade

ANKARA - Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said that a total of 223 million 668 thousand 96 barrels of crude oil had been produced in Turkey in the last decade.
In response to a question with notice, which was submitted by Atilla Basoglu, a deputy of the Republican People's Party (CHP) from Adana province, Guler said that 27 million barrels of crude oil was produced in 1993, 25 million barrels of crude oil in 1994, 19 million barrels of crude oil in 2000, 17 million 850 thousand barrels of crude oil in 2001 and 17 million 65 thousand barrels of crude oil in 2002.
He said that Turkish Petroleum Corp. (TPAO) produced crude oil in southeastern province of Adiyaman, the biggest oil reserve of Turkey.
Guler added that a total of 1 thousand 804 oil wells had been opened in Turkey between 1994 and 2002.
