ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener said on Saturday that the government followed works on adjustment with the European Union (EU) carefully, adding, ''as the government, we set our schedule. Everything will work in order.''
When asked whether or not the sixth EU adjustment package would come onto agenda of the National Security Council meeting in June, Sener said all issues continued in order and in time.
Stressing that the government closely and carefully followed especially the works on adjustment with the EU, Sener said, ''as you know that accession talks with the EU will start without any delay if Turkey fulfils the Copenhagen political criteria by the EU summit in December 2004. So as the government, we set our schedule. Everything will work in order.''
