ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref opened on Friday Gurbulak border gate which was modernized by the Association of International Transporters (AIT).
Erdogan who proceeded from eastern province of Agri to Gurbulak border gate crossed to Iranian side. Erdogan was welcomed by Aref on the border gate.
Prime Minister Erdogan and Iranian Vice President Aref opened Bazargan customs and border gate in Iranian side.
Erdogan and Aref got information about the border gate from officials.
Later, Erdogan and Aref crossed to Turkish side and opened Gurbulak border gate.
State Minister Kursad Tuzmen, National Education Minister Huseyin Celik, Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun and some Iranian ministers accompanied Erdogan and Aref during the opening ceremonies.
