ISTANBUL - Turkish teams, which participated in search and rescue efforts in the earthquake occurred in Algeria, returned to Turkey on Friday.
Ankara Civil Defense Search and Rescue Association Directorate and 20 personnel of GEA Search and Rescue teams arrived in Istanbul.
GEA leader Ibrahim Dogru said at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport that people in the region gave big support to them and he added that they rescued a person from wreckage. Dogru also said that doctors in the team provided health assistance to Algerian people.
