ISTANBUL - One person was injured when bombs put in front of HSBC Bank's two branches in Istanbul exploded on Friday.
The bomb placed in a plastic bag in front of Fýndýkzade branch of HSBC Bank exploded when Ersoy Goksal (32), who was earning money by selling the things he finds in the garbage, touched the bag with his leg. Goksal's leg (32) was seriously injured and he was hospitalized.
Meanwhile another bomb put in front of the same bank's branch on Besiktas Barboros Boulevard exploded in the morning. The explosion caused minor damage in the bank.
The bombs were fragmentation bombs and an investigation was launched about the explosions.
