ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received on Thursday Gasprom Company's deputy chairman Yuri Kamarrow, Gas Export company director general and Gasprom executive board member Aleksander Nedvedev and executive board chairman of Bosphorus Gas Cooperation Company, which is partner of Gasprum in Turkey, Ali Sen.
After the meeting which was held closed to press, Ali Sen said that Gasprom company would do what was necessary to solve Turkey's problems on natural gas with Russia through peaceful ways.
Sen quoted Erdogan as saying that agreement which was made regarding Blue Stream should be in favor of both sides and stated that there were some exploitations on that issue. He added that Gasprom company was ready to remove those problems.
Stating that a meeting would be held on June 16 to remove technical problems in natural gas agreement between Turkey and Russia, Sen said that all agreements on natural gas which had earlier been signed between the two countries would be reviewed.
Kamarrow said that they would carry out studies for agreements which were made to sell Russian natural gas to Turkey in favor of both countries and stated that agreements which had earlier been signed would be rearranged.
Stating that they did not make any commercial agreement to go to arbitration, Kamarrow said that they wanted to sell natural gas to Turkey by taking into consideration commercial aspects.
Kamarrow said that they would do what was necessary for natural gas's transportation to Turkey without any problems.
