Plane Crash In Trabzon - Death Toll Rises To 75

TRABZON - Trabzon Chief Prosecutor Burhan Cobanoglu said on Wednesday, ''it has become definite that there were seventy-five people aboard the plane which crashed near Macka town of Trabzon early on last Monday.''
Cobanoglu who heads the DNA tests on bodies told the A.A correspondent that their study which started upon the Ukrainian Embassy in Ankara officials' claim that 'there was one more person aboard the plane', finished.
Noting that Forensic Medicine experts had revealed that there were seventy-five people on board, Cobanoglu said, ''there was another crew member aboard the plane. His name was not included in the list and it was understood that he was a forty-nine-year-old Belarussian flight operator and his name was Dmytro Maratovych Malochko. And the number of crew members who were killed in the plane crash rose to thirteen.''
In the plane crash, sixty-two Spanish peacekeeping soldiers who were returning from duty in Afghanistan were also killed.
