BAGHDAD - The 12-member Red Crescent team including AK Party deputy Cevdet Erdol came to Baghdad, Iraq on Tuesday.
The team will plan the coordination of the aid it will make in Iraq in the coming days.
''We are here to determine all kinds of medicine, equipment, doctor, nurse and medical equipment that are needed in Iraq. After meeting with Iraq's Red Crescent, we will try to bring this aid to Iraqi people,'' Dr. Erdol said.
Erdol said he came to Baghdad as a volunteer of Red Crescent, adding that a hospital could also be constructed in Baghdad if necessary.
''I am here as a doctor and as a deputy. I came to Baghdad in order to explain well in the parliament the things taking place in Baghdad. We should help the Iraqi people,'' he said.
