BAYRAMIC - Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal said on Monday that the discussion of regime in Turkey and its constant place on Turkey's agenda made everybody uneasy.
Responding to questions of journalists about the news telling that ''young officers were uneasy about AKP'' in Bayramic town of western Canakkale province, Baykal said that ''Turkey should no longer be a country which discusses its regime. We have very serious problems, the first condition of solving these problems is to have a full stability and trust in respect of the regime...We must take this issue out from the country's agenda as a problem...I have to say clearly that it is the mission of the government to take these problems out from the agenda of Turkey. The leading responsibility of the government is to create the environment in which nobody has any hesitation about such issues. But a government which continuously gives suggestions about regime, which permits circles to discuss it, which constitutes source for regime discussions, which develops discourse on it, can't do the things we mentioned.''
Baykal defended the view that the real agenda of the country should not be distorted and an artificial agenda should not be created.
