ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Malaysia, Pakistan and Greece in June.
Erdogan will start his four-day Malaysia visit on June 12. Erdogan who plans to go to this country with many businessmen will proceed to Pakistan after wrapping up his contacts in Malaysia.
Erdogan will attend the EU summit in Thessaloniki, Greece that will be held between 20-21 June. Issues of Iraq, Middle East, European Security and Defense Policy (ESDP), Balkans and migration will be taken up in the meeting.
EU Defense and Foreign Policy High Representative Javier Solana is expected to present his study about European Strategic Concept during the meeting. Formation of such a concept was taken up during the unofficial EU foreign ministers meeting in Kastellorizo island of Greece.
During the Thessaloniki summit, Greece will also hand over EU Term Presidency to Italy as of July. Italy actively supports Turkey's membership process to the EU.
