ANKARA - Experts headed by International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen continued their studies in Treasury Undersecretariat on Saturday.
IMF experts worked on issues of public finance, State Economic Enterprises (SEEs), and structural reforms in the Treasury. IMF experts made an assessment among themselves on Sunday.
The studies would continue with Central Bank, State Planning Organization (SPO), Finance Ministry, Banking Regulatory and Supervision Agency (BRSA) and Privatization Administration experts next week.
Following Kahkonen's meeting with some top-government officials in the beginning of the week within the scope of the fifth review, the studies on letter of intent will also start as of the middle of the next week.
Kahkonen is expected to wrap up his studies till the end of this month and leave Turkey.
