ANKARA - Ankara has been having an intense diplomacy traffic since the beginning of May and it is now getting ready to host new guests in coming days.
Sources said on Friday that Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz of Israel would come to Ankara on May 25 to hold a series of contacts.
Mofaz will start holding contacts on May 26.
He is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul.
Mofaz will depart from Turkey the same day after wrapping up his contacts.
Earlier, Mofaz said that the current shape of the ''road map'', which was prepared to find a solution to the Middle East dispute, was bad for Israel. He noted that if Palestinian President Yasser Arafat prevented Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas' efforts to put an end to acts of violence, they would deport him.
Meanwhile, Ankara will host Foreign Minister Bill Graham of Canada next week.
Graham is expected to arrive in Ankara on May 29 and hold contacts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Energy Minister Milko Kovachev and Settlement Minister Valentin Tserovski of Bulgaria are also expected to come to Ankara the same day.
Federation of Turkish-American Association (ATAA) Chairman Ercument Kilic and 25-member accompanying delegation will come to Ankara in the beginning of June. They will hold contacts in Ankara between June 2 and 5.
Israeli President, prime ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova and Luxembourg and foreign minister of Germany are expected to come to Ankara in the coming period.
