ANKARA - World Bank Vice President Johannes Linn will come to Ankara on May 29 to take up project and program loans to be released for Turkey and to bid farewell before he retires.
Linn is expected to meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, State Minister Ali Babacan and other government officials.
Johannes Linn is expected to take up assistance to Turkey within the framework of Country Assistance Strategy (CAS) and World Bank program loans.
Decrease in costs of some loans to be provided for Turkey is also foreseen to come onto the agenda during Linn's contacts.
Sources said that the amount of CAS for three years time would become definite in July and it would enter into force after the World Bank Executive Board approved it in September.
