AH- The government is planning to bring the 6th Harmonization Package, which was prepared in the framework of the Copenhagen criteria, to the parliament as soon as possible. Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said that, the package would be conveyed to the parliament in the coming days and that the issues would not be limited with legal arrangements, these would be put into practice.
Leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deniz Baykal, who supported the Harmonization Package to EU, said that Turkey was at a well point about EU and difficulties should not be created to hinder the preparations and that they would carry out their responsibilities as parliament.
Justice Minister Cemil Cicek said that, the 6th Harmonization Package would be sent to the Office of the Prime Minister until Thursday and that the issue might be brought into the agenda of the National Security Board (MGK) with the proposal of the Prime Minister or Chief of Staff.
