Cicek: It Is Not Possible To Solve Head Scarf Problem Through Law

ANKARA - Justice Minister Cemil Cicek said on Sunday that it was not possible to solve head scarf problem through law.
Speaking at a tv program broadcast in private ATV, Cicek said solution of all the problems was expected from jurisdiction, stating that people should apply to justice when it was obligatory.
Responding to a question, Cicek said, ''let us turn the Middle East into a geography of peace'', and stated that, ''we will support those whoever want to fight against terrorism.'' Cicek also said Turkey was ready for cooperation on foodstuff and health aid to Iraq.
Stating that it was not possible to solve head scarf problem through law, Cicek said this problem should be left to social compromise and time.
