Iraq Turkmen Front Chairman Aga In Turkey's Embassy In Baghdad

BAGHDAD - Iraq Turkmen Front Chairman Sanan Ahmet Aga visited on Sunday Turkey's Embassy in Baghdad.
Following his meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Osman Paksut, Aga told reporters that Iraq's territorial integrity and they were struggling for that.
Aga said that they were Iraqi citizens as Turkmens living in Iraq but that they had their roots in Turkish race.
Therefore, it was so natural for them to continue their relations with Turkey Aga noted.
Aga said that they were bringing the two countries together in many fields like education, economy and politics.
Re-opening of Turkey's Embassy in Baghdad was important for supporting Iraq, Aga pointed out.
Aga added that it was their duty to work for a better Iraq.
Aga, who met with Paksut for 45 minutes, pointed out that he met with the party leaders, U.S. officials and embassies in Iraq.
Aga said Turkey was an indispensable legal state in the region, noting that it respected to Iraq's territorial integrity, resolution of the United States, and the borders accepted there.
Aga said their close relations with Turkey and other Turkish Republics would add power to Iraq, stating that, ''those talks will contribute to protection of Iraq's territorial integrity and economy. We will continue to work for a democratic Iraq state.''
Paksut in his part said, ''it is the wish of all of us for Iraq to reach a democratic structure which does not constitute danger for Iraq.''
Pointing out that Turkmens had great contribution to continuation of peace and territorial integrity in Iraq, Paksut said Turkey would always support Turkmens in this respect.
