ANKARA - Kyrgyz Prime Minister Nikolai Tanaev told Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) Acting Chairman Faik Yavuz on Wednesday that sending 500 of 1 million 200 thousand TOBB members to Kyrgyzstan for investment would be sufficient.
A delegation headed by Tanaev held a meeting with Yavuz.
Tanaev said that they signed an action plan to develop economic cooperation and that the two countries reached an agreement to cooperate in projects to be carried out in Afghanistan.
There were 180 Turkish companies operating in his country, 80 of which were medium and large scale companies, Tanaev pointed out.
They revealed a company on March 4 which put pressure on Turkish businessmen and took money from Turkish businessmen by force, Tanaev added.
Yavuz said that the incidents in the region made cooperation with Eurasian countries obligatory and this cooperation would develop and increase trade volume.
They held a summit meeting of the chairmen of Eurasian chambers of commerce in order to develop trade with those countries, Yavuz recalled.
Yavuz said that he believed that the summit would lay a groundwork for regional cooperation and it would accelerate commercial relations.
