Baykal To Visit France And Germany

ANKARA - Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal will visit France between May 17-18 and later Germany between May 22-23.
Baykal will attend the grand congress of the French Socialist Party (PS) between May 17-18 in Dijon.
CHP deputies Gulsun Bilgehan Toker and Kemal Dervis and CHP foreign affairs director Petek Gurbuz will accompany Baykal during his visit.
After wrapping up his contacts in France on May 18, Baykal will proceed to Germany as guest of German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.
Baykal will participate in leaders' and prime ministers' meeting of the European Socialists Party (PES) in Berlin on May 22, and he will attend celebrations for the 140th anniversary of establishment of the Social Democrat Party (SDP) on May 23.
CHP leader Deniz Baykal will return to Turkey on May 24.
