Gul Leaves For Bulgaria

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul left on Monday for Bulgaria for an official visit.
Making a statement at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Gul said that Turkey's developing its relations with neighbors in recent years provided stability and peace in the region and he added that his visit to Sofia was important within that scope.
Gul will make a speech in Burgas Hur University and receive an honorary doctorate on the first day of his visit.
Gul, who will proceed to Sofia after attending Thrace motorway foundation laying ceremony, will meet with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi and Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
