Premier Night Of Hittites Movie Held In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Premier night of ''Hittites'' movie, which was shot by director Tolga Ornek in Turkey, Egypt and Syria in three years, was held on Thursday in Lutfi Kirdar International Congress and Exhibition Hall in Istanbul.
Ornek, who was known with his documentary films ''Ataturk'' and ''Throne of Gods Nemrut'', replied to questions of reporters.
When asked whether he was pretentious, he said, ''we are pretentious as we invited two thousand people to premier.''
One of the actors of movie Haluk Bilginer said, ''it was a good project. Hittites is an important civilization which had lived on these lands. It is a significant drama-documentary film. It is the first work of art which is shot for Hittites. I hope it is not the last.''
''Hittites'' is completed in 40 different places of Anatolia and in Egypt and Syria in three years.
English narration of the movie was made by Oscar winner actor Jeremy Irons.
Music of the movie which was composed by Tamer Ciray was played by Prague Symphony Orchestra.
''Hittites'' will also be shown in the United States.
