AH- Speaking at the Forum Istanbul conference IMF Executive Director Willy Kiekens said that, the government should encourage the Central Bank and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and that autonomy of those was advantage for the Turkish economy. Kiekens said that Turkey made important reforms for the last 3 years and gained strong and autonomous institutions like the Central Bank and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency at this period. Kiekens stressed that Turkey was making important reforms but those were not sufficient and more reforms should be done. Kiekens said that the budget and tax reforms and the privatization of KITs should be concluded.
