Krueger: There Is No Need For New Stand-by

AH- IMF Deputy director Anne Krueger said that there was no need for the new stand-by agreement and that if one year or less time remained for ending of the present stand-by agreement, there might be need for the new but two years were long time.
Krueger said that, even the governments changed, the targets of Turkey were same; the aim of the economic program was to keep the development and increase the prosperity of the Turkish people. Krueger stressed that the government had adequate opportunity to fulfill its undertakings and the program until the end of the stand-by agreement and the program should be implemented with determination.
